L.A. is known for many things and there is so much to see and do in this city is amazing.  Site seeing in the LA area needs to be planed, as there are so many places you can go to see. Some of them are easy to find however others you really need to know where you are headed to get there without some serious detours along the way.Let’s talk about a few of the top stops for any Route 66 traveler as they make their way through Los Angeles. The Crest Highway this is a scenic drive along the LA basin that is very beautiful. Long Beach and home to the Queen Mary, is still open to tourist and cruisers. Of course there is Disneyland and if you have children you will want to make sure to have this one on your must go list.Mulholland Drive which is that is another drive along the LA basin with many views and you can see downtown LA from the drive. The sunset would be romantic and awesome if you are cruising with your sweetheart. Universal Studios, another theme park with a movie twist. There is lots of food there too, so this may be another good way to spend a day with the family.  Warner Brothers Studio is a tour of a working studio, you have the opportunity to visit prop departments, sound stages, workshops, and you might even get a chance to see a TV series rehearsal or see some of the back lot.We know that many of the stops listed above are not the historic Route 66 stops that many are looking for on their trip across the Mother Road.  However, since you have made it this far there is no reason not to make a stop at some of these world famous locations while you are here.
