10. Harley and Annabelle Russell are considered to be living legends and yes we know they don’t seem like a destination, but really they are! There are many interesting people along the trip through Oklahoma on Route 66, but we promise that it will be hard to find any more interesting that this zany couple. Located in Erick, Oklahoma, Harley and Annabelle Russell have made a name for themselves and their own strange way become famous!

Once quoted saying “We wanna welcome you to the ‘World Class, World Famous Sandhills Curiosity Shop - right here in Erick, Oklahoma, The Redneck Capitol of the World” and this really is not far from the truth now that they have their own shop and show. This is another location that people from around the world travel in planes, trains and automobiles to see or in some cases, just to say that they have seen “the show” live.
This couple has a very special showmanship style that is not matched by any other entertainers and you will not find bigger Route 66 lovers than this couple. Live music performances and variety shows happen often in this shop and you never know what else you might see here, so take a second to get your kicks on Route 66 here and you will most definitely walk away with a story to tell your friends if nothing else.
